Failure to find はりがぬ

I tried searching for　はりがぬ　in the dictionary and it reported no entries. I then searched the English 'wire' and はりがぬ is listed as one of the entries, not sure why that should be, but it does seems a bit odd...

My version of Edict lists 'wire' as 'はりがね' (a 'ne' in the end, not a 'nu').
