Title: Re Beta test - still no problems
Post by: Granville on June 05, 2007, 06:51:35 PM
I have created 7 new lists from my classnotes.  These have included words from the dictionary, cut and pastes as well as imported text files.  I have not had any issues thus far.  I then converted these for use on my Palm.  Everything has been intuitive and easy to use.  So easy to use that a "retired 70 year old" can do it.

Good to hear that all works fine with your installation!

Is this "retired 70 years old" to be taken literally, or just flowery language?

The oldest Stackz user I'm aware of is 78, she is from Austria and learning Japanese, Russian, and French...
It seems that not only young computer geeks use computers for learning these days!

I will be 70 in August, and have learned Russian and now working on Japanese.  I use the IPod for music and language study(which the 80 gb is maxed out) and the Palm for Flash cards and dictionary.

Congratulations for your great set of intersting hobbies!
It's a real pleasure to hear from users like that, I admire people who never stop learning!
