Greetings fellow Stackz users!
Last year over the course of a few months, using kanjibrowse utilities I created a study set for the complete jouyou kanji list. The set consists of 39 files of 50 lessons each (45 in the last). Each lesson contains all the vocabulary tagged common usage by edict for that particular kanji. As well, I created a supplementary file for vocabulary containing non-jouyou kanji that are also tagged common usage. I did this by manually individually analyzing about 7000 kanji and collecting the vocabulary results produced by the dictionary. In total I'd estimate there are about 20000 words separated into individual kanji vocabulary lessons.
I'm very pleased with how this project turned out, and use it frequently. My main goal when creating this, was to have a system where I could either focus on one kanji at a time, or many if I wanted. I limited the lessons to words tagged common usage to keep the file size manageable and practical. Currently I don't have the files uploaded anywhere, but if anybody is also interested in using these files, feel free to message me your email address, and I can send the set to you in a zip file. Also, MindDate staff is welcome to host the set for public usage if they are interested in doing so.
Best to you all with your studies.
