Stackz - Solved Issues / Editing Problem

First I have to say thanks for a great product.
There are currently two problems that i'm having with the software.
1. When in the edit stack or edit selection, my backspace nor delete will work. The program will only erase an entry when i'm still imputing the Japanese before i have set it in kanji or kana (meaning before i hit enter) after this point the only way i can edit what has been typed is to highlight the entry and type over it. (Note: When I first downloaded the product i don't remember having this problem.
2. Again in the edit stack function, when i'm entering data in the entry column (first column), the program resets my default entry input for Japanese from hiragana to half-width alphanumeric, and changes the conversion from general to bias for names. I don't have this problem in any other program, and again have not had this problem in the past.
Any help that can be offered, i would be grateful for, as these problems increase the time greatly that it takes me to input new information.
